Roseann Bennett Strives To Change Lives Of Low-Income Patients

Mental Health Awareness Month” is an important event that aims to reduce the stigma that is associated with mental illness and encourage people to get the help that they need. This is especially important to the co-founder of the Center for Assessment and Treatment, Roseann Bennett. She has been a licensed marriage and family therapist for the last 10 years and has dedicated her life to helping everyone who needs it.

Recently, the nonprofit Center for Assessment and Treatment announced that they would be publishing a series of articles in honor of the month. They have always done everything that they can to help their clients lead lives that are happier and healthier, and they hope these articles will encourage others to seek mental health services as well. Roseann Bennett authored this series of articles that can be found on the center’s website.

The articles are written from the perspective of the therapist and the services that she has provided over the years. Bennett has had a lot of experience with families and couples and knows this knowledge can help even more people with their mental health issues. One of the areas that she has the most experience in is concerning the mental health of adolescents. She also wrote about the behind the scenes processes like case management and treatment planning. Another part of therapy that isn’t addressed as much is the concept of crisis management and what has to be done in times such as these.

The Center for Assessment and Treatment and Roseann Bennett stand by their promise to not turn down patients because of their income. The center receives no funding, but they are still dedicated to being able to help low-income clients in need of mental health services. The services offered through the center are on an out-patient basis. See Related Link for additional information.
